Franky Uk

Hi everyone. I'm Franky Uk, a Studio Artist, musician, singer and writer, and I have loved and worked in the music/entertainment business, (and on both sides of the mixing desk), with a modicum of success for more years than I care to remember.

For my past sins, I worked as a guitarist and lead singer in a show band, then as a travelling DJ. Became a sound engineer, session musician/singer and jingle writer in a recording studio, worked as a freelance reporter for Independent Radio, managed an ‘Alternative’ night club, wrote a rock musical drama entitled 'Prodigal', (and had the dubious privilege of having the released comedy song from the show, 'Big Jane's Song' banned from Radio for being too risqué)....

I also wrote a newspaper comic strip entitled 'The Legend of Dyllbert the Pirate’ which was eventually published as two books.

More recently, I have been writing and recording original songs, some of which were released as a diverse mix of tracks on an Album entitled: '49 Minutes'. (Guess why it's called 49 Minutes... Yep, you're right).

I am currently working on a concept Album entitled; 'The Gods - The Return of the Anunnaki'.

Please feel free to listen to the tracks posted on this Blog. I really hope you enjoy them and, if you discover that you like any particular track(s), perhaps you would be kind enough to consider sharing it/them on Facebook, Twitter etc.

Unless otherwise stated, all tracks are available for digital download from ITunes, Amazon and CD Baby
